Mimi is a Fauna, an Aqua Aeterna who was discovered as a loner. This was extremely rare as Aqua Aeterna usually travel in groups. Mana found her alone, and decided to keep her around, as he was alone as well. Later, they soon became partners.
Like most Aqua Aeternas, Mimi has extreme durability, ability to absorb and shoot water like a bullet (this is not manipulation, as it is spitting out water after compressing it), and amazing strength and speed in the water. She can also glide, like most of her species, and read minds my picking up brainwaves. (Ears of AA are extremely sensitive that it can pick up different types of waves. They use these to figure out whether people bear ill will or not).
Mimi trusts Mana wholeheartedly, and usually tries to help. unlike Mana, however, she likes to fight, often getting Mana into trouble when she attacks a random Fluxi or another Fauna.
Mimi can't speak, only making sounds like Meep! to express herself. However, she is quite adapt at sign languages, allowing Mana to understand her to some extent.
